This is a very high quality S-video (some would say S-VHS) cable that is roughly 10 feet long (it's sealed new stock and I won't cut it open to measure it), with an S-video mini-DIN connector on one end and an S-video mini-DIN connector on the other end.

This would normally be used with various near-broadcast quality S-video decks, DVD drives, and other video sources.
