From Ravage: The Silver Rose Collection, Style ROUCOULADE R27532A, B, C or D-070-100. This lightly padded, preformed, U/W balconette bra, has silver grey flat organza roses covering the two sectioned cups which have a horizontal seam inside and dart in the roses on the outside, and the underwires which are picked out with grey stitching. The roses cover the top of the cups and leave a soft pattern with their petals against the skin, up to the strap. Sparkly silvery grey fabric covers the section in between the cups, the wings and back. The section between the cups is lined inside with grey mesh for added strength. The wings and back are unlined. There is no under band.
There is a beautiful, beaded dragonfly applique'd across the inner side of the right hand cup with its wings falling over the section between the cups and just touching the left hand cups.
Across the top and bottom of the wings and back the fabric is turned in and secured to the inner flat grey elastic with fine zig-zag stitching. A delicate fringe of pleated silver grey organza peeps out from under the fabric of the wings and back and also the under arm section of the cups. The bra fastens with three double rows of grey hooks and eyes on grey fabric.
The front straps are formed of grey elastic with a satin sheen which shows from under the tiny silvery grey organza leaves and the tiny matte grey crochet'd loops which alternate with the leaves as they wend their way up the front straps. Over the shoulders they are looped through a grey metal ring. The back straps of plain silver elastic with a satin sheen, are looped through the same grey ring and adjust downwards from this top ring. At the bottom the back straps are sewn to the inside top of the back elastic with edges the top of the back panel.
The fabric is 58%Polyamide, 23%Polyester, 11%Polyurethane, 8%Elastane and please machine or hand wash at 30 degrees, no iron, dry cleaning, tumble drying or bleach. New and unused. Made in France. The retail price was £77.50.
