A very beautiful antique 19th century piece in this Meridan Company Quadruple Plate holder with Cranberry Pink Crimped Edge Glass Basket, the holder circ, 1850's.

So elegant and striking with its encased glass bowl portion that features a crimped, ruffled cranberry pink edge which gradually changes in hue from deep to lighter as it moves into the inner portion of bowl, and which can be removed from the quadruple silver plated holder which reflects an intricately designed pattern on grip handle and pedestal base.

Please note that while the cranberry glass basket portion sirs within silver plate holder, its likely its not original to the holder but is in very nice condition overall, and the quadruple plated holder being very old has never had cleaner or polish put on it, so does greatly reflect its age but is generally to be expected for an untouched antique piece of this type.

Quadruple plate holder measures approximately 10" high, and cranberry pink glass basket about 8 1/2" across at its widest pint and about 3" high.

Very pretty in its present condition, but once restored would showcase beautifully as a darling antique Victorian piece.

*Please note*

For vintage/collectible/antique pieces, most come from well-loved and well-cared for homes and while we strive for pristine quality condition, may not always be in absolute perfect condition.

Every attempt will be made to describe any obvious defects but we ask that all pictures are also examined carefully for exact condition. Variations in color/texture/finish due to lighting can be present and is often the case with vintage and antique pieces due to age and other variables.
