A wonderful Gabriella Crespi style brass and rattan/bamboo fruit bowl. This charming cosmopolitan decor bowl shows of mid century design meets haute bourgeois effortlessly. The earthy cane structure is topped off with a brass banded collar. The contrast of the 2 materials is classically Crespi, it is beautiful. Crespi 's work has become a sought after designer piece by collectors, it is quite hard to find her work in such good condition. Really excellent condition - I have not cleaned the brass as I prefer a bit of patina but you could shine it up with brass cleaner.
