Giorgio Scalco, born in Schio, Italy, in 1929, embarked on a multifaceted artistic journey that traversed the realms of cinema, stage design, and painting. After studying at the Universita Cattolica of Milan and the Centro Sperimentale di Cinematografia, Scalco immersed himself in the world of stage and set design in Rome until 1960, when he wholeheartedly embraced painting. His artistic prowess quickly garnered attention, securing representation in galleries across Europe and America, including the prestigious Guildhall Gallery in Chicago. Scalco's works graced renowned institutions such as the Grand Palais in Paris, the Martin-Gropius-Bau Museum in Berlin, and the Panorama Museum in Bad Frankenhausen, Germany.
