The magnetic door opener unlocks the bolt so that the door can be opened. The door lock consists of rim lock, strike, and pin extension. Hold open bar can be used to place lock in passage (unlocked) mode. For all types of doors 16 - 24 mm (5/8 - 15/16”) thick, particularly suitable as child protection. The Safe-Fix magnetic "key" unlocks the latchbolt so that the door can be opened (*NOT INCLUDED). Any strong magnet will work to operate the lock mechanism.
