This pair of vintage pillowcases has many flaws but they're too pretty to throw away. I found small stains and tears in the material as they're made of soft, antique cotton. Sorry, my photos make them look yellowish, but they're a nice off-white color, like the first and second photos. They measure 34" x 23.5" and weigh 13 ounces. The lace is 3.5" wide. I have not washed them so please do so prior to using. I found some repairs and am hoping someone can restore these to a usable condition.

MPW stands for Marian Wright Powers, and these were bought at auction from the Powers Museum, formerly of Carthage, Missouri. The museum was open for more than 35 years, housing thousands of beautiful personal items of the Wright/Powers/Winchester family dating from the 1880s-1950s. Sadly, Covid caused the museum to close permanently in 2020 and all items were either donated to local historical societies or sold at auction. The last photos are of Marian, who was an accomplished singer/performer in the early 1900s.

Please see my other listings of beautiful items from the Powers Museum.

Shipping via USPS first class at 13 ounces.
