Own a piece of rock history.

Presented for sale here is a 1979 Valve Rose Morris era Vox AC30 Top Boost Reverb.

The Vox AC30 is a vintage staple amplifier that has powered the sounds of the greatest rock guitarists since the 1960’s. Famously played by Brian May of Queen, Jimmy Page of Led Zeppelin, among many others.

This rare example is a Top Boost Reverb. The Top Boost models feature a more versatile tone and gain capability, compounding the already powerful and dynamic characteristics of the amplifier. The gem of this particular amplifier is the rare ‘Reverb’ addition, which enables an even richer sound.

In a rehearsal or gig environment, this amplifier does not need microphones for the PA as it’s tonal qualities are preserved well into its top end when projected into big spaces.

This amplifier has been well taken care of, serviced fully in February ‘23 and truly is an amplifier that belongs in any collection.

The Vox Showroom [online] present a full and detailed breakdown of the specific model, where the link can be found below;

The exterior exhibits signs of wear associated with age as photographed. Built-in original foot pedal is in full working order.

The amplifier is currently stored at a Unit in Stockport, Manchester, and viewings for playing through the amp can be arranged for serious buyers. Delivery of the amplifier can be organised at an additional cost or for free if within 20 miles of Manchester city centre.

Feel free to message with any queries. Upon request I can also provide footage of the amplifier being played.

Thankyou for taking the time to read through the description.
