The Bluebird was active all over the world as Japan's representative passenger car, and was also active in motor sports such as rallies, taking advantage of its sturdy and solid features.
A relatively recent model that is particularly well known is the SSS-R, which is based on the 8th generation (U12 type).
This is a competition-spec car based on the U12 model, which was the first to be equipped with the 4WD system ``Athesa.'' It was a very spartan car, equipped with a roll bar as standard, and initially only seated two people.
TLV-NEO is based on the early model U12 Bluebird, and the die-cast body has been modified to become SSS-R.
