The Meisterstück Great Masters Collections are a series of editions that pay tribute to both the paradigm of excellence of the Meisterstück as well as to the visionary traditions of other master craftsmen and to their long-standing dedication to excellence.

This collection brings together the quintessential expertise of Montblanc and Forge de Laguiole, was founded 1829 in Aveyron in Southwestern France, as the archetype of traditional French quality knives.

The limitation to 8 pieces reflects the high exclusivity of this collection.

Overall Design:

The creation is made of precious ebony wood and hand engraved with a characteristic Laguiole three dimensional pineapple pattern, each tip set with diamonds (~1,0 ct.), strongly inspired by the Forge de Laguiole knives. The fittings, forepart and cone are made of Au750 white gold.

Cap:

The typical Laguiole leaf pattern is engraved on the Au750 white gold rings and inlays.

Cap Top:

The cap top is crowned with a Montblanc Diamond (~0,5 ct.).

Clip:

The clip is platinum coated.

Cone:

The cone is made of Au750 white gold.

Nib:

AU-750 hand-crafted Meisterstuck white gold nib.

Sold out long time ago from Montblanc and extremely rare on the secondary market, the concerned LE 8 Master for Meisterstück L'AUBRAC comes in pristine, unused condition in its sealed bag with its own original wooden box (some stains inside due to humidity, the upper suede tray is missing), the outer box (damaged by water) and original certificate (some pages are damaged by water).

Limited to only 8 creations worldwide.
