DA VINCI WOLVES  (embroidery).

The 1st separate mechanized battalion "Da Vinci Wolves" (1 OMB) is a special forces formation of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
On January 20, 2014, the 1st assault company was created, which was part of the 5th battalion of the Ukrainian Volunteer Corps "Right Sector". Since then, it has been in the war zone in eastern Ukraine.
On March 17, 2016, Dmytro Kotsyubailo was appointed commander of the 1st separate assault company "Da Vinci Wolves".

On November 30, 2021, the commander of the unit Dmytro Kotsyubailo ("Da Vinci") received the title of Hero of Ukraine.

In 2022, the unit was re-staffed to the size of a battalion and reassigned to the 67th Separate Mechanized Brigade.
During the full-scale Russian invasion of Ukraine in 2022, the battalion participated in the battles for Zaporizhzhia, Kyiv, Belogorivka, Kherson Region and the counteroffensive in Kharkiv Region and Battle for Bakhmut.

On March 7, 2023, the battalion lost its leader Dmytro “Da Vinci” Kotsyubailo in the battles for Bakhmut.
