This listing is for one piece of spool bearing cushion #8720 for classic ABU Ambassadeur reels. This one goes to the face side of the reel.
Simon Shimomura has customized them as ABU has discontinued this precious and important part years ago.
Without this part, your classic ball bearing model reel will not work properly. This is a part you must have as a spare. Without it, your classic Ambassadeur reel won't work well. This part keeps the spool in a proper position by giving a necessary tension to the shoulder of spool shaft.
Application of this part is for all ball bearing models from 4500C~6600C with an exception of 5000De Luxe. 5000De Luxe is a ball bearing model but didn't have this part.
