Up for sale, a 2023 Fender Traditional II 60s Jaguar in like-new condition and in perfect working order. Imported directly from Tokyo, this FSR (Factory Special Run) example was made in extremely small quantities, featuring a gloss Olympic White finish with matching headstock.

A reinvention of Fender Japan's Jaguar platform, the new Traditional II 60s model features a basswood body, revoiced Vintage Style Jaguar pickups, as well as USA-spec CTS pots, Switchcraft switches, and USA Fender plastic parts. Tonally, this Jag does everything a good Fender should, and these pickups dish out plenty of sparkling cut in the top end, with a slightly aggressive chime and sinewy snarl that sets this model apart. The neck pickup has a balanced, sweet sound with great clarity for strummed passages and fat lead lines. Engage the Rhythm Circuit for even darker, meatier tones (great for use with fuzz pedals) or click on the "strangle" switch in the Lead Circuit for even thinner tic-tac sounds. This guitar weighs 7lbs 8oz, professionally setup here at Mike & Mike's Guitar Bar with 11-49 strings, low action and accurate intonation.

The maple neck has a chunky medium depth U-shaped profile carve with particularly round shoulders and lightly rolled fretboard edges, measuring .865" deep at the 1st fret and .925" at the 12th. The rosewood fretboard features pearloid dot inlays and flawless slender vintage-spec fretwire on the 24" scale. The neck is straight, and the truss rod is responsive and optimally adjusted. The fretboard radius measures 9 1/2", and the nut is 1 9/16" in width. The headstock features a matching Olympic White gloss finish, fitted with Gotoh, Kluson-style tuning machines.

The electronics include individual on/off switches for each pickup on the Lead Circuit, in addition to the bass cut (or "strangle switch") on/off toggle and Master Volume and Tone knobs. The Rhythm Circuit has its own pair of Volume and Tone wheels in addition to the on/off toggle switch that engages this circuit, which adds a darker tone cap exclusively for use on the neck pickup. The vibrato unit is smooth and responsive, actuating easily for surfy warbles and dives. The chrome-plated hardware and plastic parts are practically perfect, with a dark red tortoise pickguard accenting the gloss Olympic White (catalog: Vintage White) finish, which has a rich cream-colored hue. The guitar is showroom clean with barely a scratch on it, and the neck profile is similarly flawless.

The Fender-branded gigbag is included, along with the hangtags.
