Seldom seen on this side of the Atlantic, this little Veglia alarm clock is a close copy of a c.1930 Westclox Baby Ben. It winds, sets, runs, and alarms as it should and seems to be original and complete except that the legs are missing and have been replaced with little rubber pads to let the clock stand upright. Also missing are the paper labels for the alarm settings, which would have slotted into the top of the bezel. Dial shows aging but is very legible.
