This 2013 Hello Kitty karaoke machine is awesome. It works perfectly with any microphone. I hooked it up to several other mikes I have. All of them seemed to fit and work well. I have been just using the machine as a CD player from time to time. Which is also a cool use for it. All the lights perform as expected and can make your child feel like they are really at a party. It did originally have a face plate around the buttons but it has since came unglued and fell off. I do not have it so please be aware it will not come with it. The remaining faceplate has some pretty deep scratches on it and there is also a small dent in the mesh of the speaker on the back. It does not affect the sound or functionality of the machine at all.  I have tried to capture these issues in the photos therefore please review them all carefully as they do serve as part of the description.
