A fine pair of vintage cufflinks with antique gold half sovereign coins. The sovereigns are for 1903 making them Edwardian in period. The settings are in 9ct gold with toggle bars. The settings have London hallmarks with the date letter for 1971. The makers mark is AJ Ld. There is also a trade name 'Milord' stamped to the settings.
They come with the presentation box from a Swiss company which suits them nicely. The cufflinks are suitable for use with the mechanisms in good order. The half sovereigns are bezel set with a cut border and have solid backings to prevent wear to the reverse. Very nicely made pair and of course quite scarce.
