This is a mid century chair in art deco style, made in the 1940's. It was designed and made by the world famous Michael Thonet furniture makers, well known by its bentwood chairs. This exact model is refurbish, repainted, protected. However the original is replaced and another seat is placed instead, same from Michael Thonet, but another model. The seat used on this chair is from the Leo model of Michael Thonet. 

The overall height is approx. 90 cm (35. inches). The diameter of the chair seat is approx. 40 cm (15.7 inches).
