A lovely clock of large proportions that would make a statement anywhere it was placed !

We set this clock up on an even service with both trains fully wound. We released the back door screws slightly so the whole movement could be turned very slightly to acheive the best even tick and then we run it for a week. Over the week the clock did not stop, struck the hours as it should and gained two minutes ! There is still plenty of adjustment left on the pendulum up or down but I think two minutes on a mechanical clock is very acceptable. However it will probably need setting up again after it moving to it's new home.The front glass is nice and clean as is the decorative dial. Both the front and rear doors shut nicely. The Penulum has a matching number to the movement (see last picture) and the clock comes with a nice old key which maybe original ?

As we don't have much history of the clock we recommend the new owner should have it serviced even though it currently worked well and feel we have priced this with that in mind looking at whats currently on the market.

Clock is collection only as would not want it damage in transit after surviving so well after so many years !
