The 86' Madison was one of the last Schwinns to be made at their Chicago factory. Made of Columbus Tenax with beautiful lugged frame and fork.

The bike comes as pictured, complete but without pedals. No brakes.

The bike runs beautifully. All bearings are in good shape (wheels,BB, headset) and the wheels are true. The frame has lots of scuffs and paint chips. There is one ding on the drive-side seat cluster cap, shown in the last picture. There is some daylight between the brazed-on seatstay cap and the seatstay itself. Just a cosmetic issue as the cap is more decorative, not structural. I got the bike with this issue and it has been stable since I've owned it.
