THORNHILL ULTRAHEAVY Classic style roll top double layer roll top canvas rucksack with leather straps, felted wool padding and brass fittings

Double layer canvas design with 18oz waxed canvas outer and 6oz waxed canvas liner. All seams are French seamed meaning all raw edges are hidden (as in all high quality equipment) and it easy to clean out and maintain.

There's 4mm felted wool on the shoulder straps and 500gsm wool padding on the back.

3mm veg tan leather throughout that's both stitched and riveted in place. The leather will darken and soften with age to become smoother and supple as the fabric agrees to get a really nice vintage look

Roll top design means that volume goes from aprox 30l up to around 45l plus there are 5 lashing point for adding bulky kit to the sides of the bag (lashing pint straps aren't included but can be bought for £9 each)

Two large rear pockets allowed easy stowage of leather items like jackets, cameras and water bottles without having to open up the main bag compartment

Every item made by hand in the Lake District, small batch products from my small business
