What it does

  • Suitable For All Paper Banknotes. No Detector Pen Works With The New Polymer Banknotes.
  • Detection: Mark the banknote (any paper currency) with the pen. If the banknote is counterfeit a grey/brown/black colour will appear. If the banknote is genuine a clear/light amber colour will appear.
  • How It Works: All counterfeit detector pens use iodine solution. Iodine solution reacts with normal copy paper to create a dark stain. When iodine solution is applied to fiber-based paper in genuine banknotes there is little or no discolouration. The mark will disappear on genuine banknotes within 24 hours.
