UPDATE: I have repaired the card reader. It now works. See video.

This is one of my favorite HP calculators.  It's kind of an Executive Toy for your desk.

This 97 works, with regards to the actual caculator and card reader. All the segments in the display work. It functions, can record to calculator memory, and run programs.

The printer works but won't advance the paper without a little help.   However, I have tested it and the print head is functional. All the digits print.  No missing lines or dots. It does print. It just does not advance the paper. An easy fix.

All the keys work, they have all been tested.

The cosmetic condition is pretty good. There are no personal inscriptions. The color is a little off, but nice. Look at the keyboard. Hardly any wear.

Includes:

* the manual, with no writing or highlighting. A little worn around the edges.
* The Std Pack no cards
* 80 magnetic cards.  40 are unused. 40 in the wallet have/had pencil markings. Most have been erased.  Those alone are worth $150 by themselves.

What you will never see in my auctions is a disclaimer that it's not tested. And then charge high price.  "not tested" should NOT be considered "might work".  I will always disclose problems.

I consider this as a midrange value. Once the printer is repaired, it could be worth twice what I'm asking.

Regarding the repair. If you are handy, you could repair the printer yourself for less than  $20.  I'd do it myself but just don't have the time right now.

Sorry NO International sales
