My aunt bought this mink jacket at Rike's in Dayton, OH, in the early 1970s.   She worked at Rike's and enjoyed the fine things her successful salesmanship afforded her.   The label reads "The Minerva Collection by Evans."   The genuine fur, which is in excellent condition,  is a very rich, dark brown.   The coat features  a large collar and lapels.  In addition, there is a hook and eye closure at the neck to close it for warmth.    The coat is 56 inches around the hem, giving it a swing silhouette.   There is a slit pocket on each side, as well as one on the inside.  There are also snapped openings in the back where apparently a back belt could fasten, though I don't recall ever seeing it.   The brown silk lining features beautiful stitching and includes my aunt's name, Frances Robinson.

Measurements:
Inside armpit to armpit -- 25 inches
Sleeves -- shoulder to cuff -- 22 1/2 Inches (rather short)
Shoulder to shoulder on outside -- 17 inches
Length -- base of collar to hem -- 30 inches
Sweep -- hem circumference -- 56 inches

My aunt wore a size 8 or 10 when she bought the coat, but it fits me, though I wear a 12 or 14 coat, so it is adaptable.
