This is a charming and rare Limoges box from the world-renowned Limoges Ceramics in France. 

The box is shaped like a butter bean pod and has a sweet hinged and gilded banded lid complete with a ‘Bee’ catch. 

The inside lid is hand-painted with the words ‘ Peint Mein Limoges France AS .’ The box is a subtle butter color and contains 5 delightful ceramic butter beans in a soft cream tone. They all look so real as if they were just picked from the garden.

 The box is in wonderful condition, approximately 4 inches long
