This 19th century large yellow ware dough bowl is a stunning piece of history. The bowl is made of yellow ware and features brown and white mocha stripes. Measuring 15" in diameter, 7" high on a foot with a 8" diameter, it is perfect for adding a touch of country charm to any room. This antique yellow ware bowl was possibly made by Jeffords and is in beautiful estate condition.  There are NO chips, NO repairs and NO restorations.  It does show crazing with staining, most noticeably on the lower portion, and interior glaze rubs or scratches in the well area, as shown in the photos.  It shows a production irregularity of a small rim edge firing pit which was glazed over during production, as shown in the photos.  The glaze retains a bright shine.  The bold brown and white stripes mocha stripes are in proportion to the large size of the bowl.  It would make a great addition to any antique or primitive collection.  Be sure to see our other listings for more antique primitives, as well as other antiques in various categories!
