Offering a male and female couple. They are made of wood composition material. No hang tags but are most likely made by Tripod or Chinese Character Doll. Circa 1970's, we purchased these at a toy and doll show here in Glendale California approx. 1980. They were on display for a few months and have come out of storage every few years. We are avid collectors of Chinese composition dolls. Having over 200 excellent condition dolls collected over 46 years, we're retired and letting go several of our first purchases. Eventually the entire collection will be donated to cultural doll museum here in the Los Angeles area.

Detail condition: both male and female dolls stand approx. 9" tall and 4" wide.  Doll stands are NOT included.  Faces show usual but faint crazing, no lifting or cracks. Female has a touched up tip of the nose, not bad. Clothing is in excellent condition; no rips, tears or frays. No color loss to the clothing, a faint but visible price tag residue can be seen on the male's long skirt - see detailed photos for condition details. Composition hands, legs and molded shoes are flaw free. The woman's hair is braided and condition free. Comes fragrance free and with some youthful collectors collecting memories. Thank you, regards, Kidowatts
