This is a soulful masterpiece from 1977 by Ruriko Ohgami, a female singer from Sakai, Osaka. Her uniquely Japanese voice, coupled with the funky performance by Baker's Tin Shop who backed her up, makes this a superb Japanese soul piece. The heavy bottom of "B3. Typhonn Lady" has a great impact, and the soul numbers "B1. Sexy Woman" and "B2. Fluffy Fluffy" are superb. The former has a pleasantly nostalgic feel with its swaying bass line, while the latter, as the song title suggests, is colored with a unique floating sensation.

The debut album ”Million Stars” by Haruko Kuwana, a rare female singer who is twinned with Minako Yoshida, was released in 1978 and is a milestone of city pop music recorded in the U.S., boasting a wonderful level of perfection! 

Track A1. "あこがれのSUN DOWN" by Mackey Feary of the 70's Hawaiian AOR band Kalapana, is a tropical mellow groove classic at twilight with an impressive synth bass. It is a great classic that has gained popularity as an early organ bar - free soul classic, and in recent years, re-edited versions of the song have gained popularity both in Japan and overseas.
