Beautiful true vintage 1930s 1940s Art Deco gown. Champagne color satin with 19 satin covered buttons up the front. All buttons and Loops are intact EXCEPT for the very top button which is MISSING. The skirt has unique tassels on both sides. I think most of the tassels are intact, except for one that appears to be missing very near the bottom hem. There is a small hole on the cuff of the sleeve which could be seen in the very last photo. (Photo #24) There are a few, what look like water marks on the back skirt, collar and one on the left chest. Also one of the sleeves has an area that is not quite as shiny as the rest of the dress. I tried to pick them up in the photos but it was very difficult to get them to show because of the shiny satin. They are not very noticeable, but I really wanted to point out anything that I found as a flaw. Also there is an area of the bottom hem that is falling down which is shown in the photos.

All the seams are strong, no split seems that I can find it all. The dress still has life left in it, it just needs a bit of TLC to bring it back to its original glory. For a gown that is 80 to 90 years old, it is actually in pretty good vintage condition. I have tried to honestly point out all flaws, no matter how minor that I have found.

This beautiful gown is a wonderful representation of the glamorous Art Deco Era.
