I stumbled upon this one in a book store. Was pleasantly surprised to see it was the first edition of the book. There is no information indicating this is anything less than the first impression/printing as well. I did some research and I'm not sure this book in this format was ever printed more than once. If so, there is usually a number line indicating which impression it is. Later, it was republished in two different volumes. This is his first work published by Doubleday before he became more famous as an author for the Riftwar Cycle.

Book has some ageing, standard for a book of its age. See condition notes. It's an awesome addition if you're a collector of fantasy or science fiction and selling these types of books is what I love about my store. I thought of keeping it for my own collection but though I love fantasy, I haven't gotten into the author yet. He's written so many books, I'm not ready to leap into the series.
