According to Marine Mollsks in Japan, Neptunea arthritica distributes in around Hokkaido, Pacific coast of NorthEast Honshu, Japan Sea coast of Japan. Common shell size is around 80mm.
This specimen is aged exceptional large 99mm and well swollen shell with operculum.  Outer lip tips.
