I am selling my very extensive Arthur Szyk collection from very rare items to more common. There are books, magazines, bookplates, prints, litho's, post cards, stamps, labels, and many more items.

This lot is for a hardcover book from 1943 that contains a full-color print titled “TO THE HALLOWED MEMORY OF EUROPE’S MARTYRED JEWS” as illustrated by ARTHUR SZYK.

This book contains 686 pages and measures about 7 3/4" x 11”. It has a blue cloth hardboard covers. The book is titled The Universal Jewish Encyclopedia, published in 1943. this is the hard-to-find "SPONSOR'S EDITION" and is hand-numbered 105 from a limited print of 761 copies. This is Volume #10. Printed in the USA and the text is all in English.

All pages are tight to the spine. No torn or missing pages. There is a lot of wear along the spine of the book (see photo). Overall the book is in good condition. A very heavy book that weighs 4 3/4 lbs.
