This is a vintage item.  It is NOT compatible with x64 64-bit operating systems such as Windows 7, 8.1, 10 or 11.   It is only compatible with Windows 95 (OSR 2.x+), Windows 98, Windows ME and Windows XP (32-bit).  It is also compatible with some older MacOS and Linux perhaps.   It is "plug and play" in that the support drivers are built into the operating system.
