The Levenhuk Skyline travel 80 is a great introduction for finding your way around the night sky.
Not suitable for high power Planetary views, but is perfect for Lunar craters, but mainly rich field star
clusters, brighter galaxies and colourful double stars. These objects will give much more satisfaction
when starting out compared to concentrating on nothing but Planets that will lead to frustration (believe me)
All objects are best viewed when away from street lights. This is where this telescope comes into its own ,
and why it has the title "travel scope" . Both lightweight tripod and OTA fit neatly into the case. This makes
it prefect for putting on the back seat of a car , bus or taxi. But also can be hand held for short walks or
even cycle rides to a better location.
Note as this is a travel scope, the tripod is light weight.
Complete with 25mm (16x) and 9mm (44x) eyepieces and a basic barlow. We recommend using the 16x
giving an amazing wide and clear field of view, and makes targets easy to locate. Using this eyepiece, wide
field objects like the Orion nebula, coat hanger cluster, Pleiades and the Beehive cluster will give a rewarding view.
