Vintage Cast Iron Tile Trivet Mid Century Triangle Shapes 70s Japan Handpainted

Fantastic mod geometric design, very space-age, is hand-painted on a ceramic tile and set in a cast iron frame. The frame has four wooden feet. Very useful in the kitchen for hot dishes, but it's also pretty to display. Trivet measures about 5 x 10 inches. The tile by itself is 4-3/8 inches square. The tile says "Hand Painted."The back is marked "WREN JAPAN" with a stamp. There is also an embossed "TRADE MARK" with a dollar sign inside a diamond, and the words "MADE IN JAPAN."
