A Large and unusual Solid Polished Bronze Late Victorian Table Lamp.

Dating from the very late 19th C. and made in the style of a Georgian Candlestick.

Very Heavy and Solid, cast from Bronze with some fine detailing.

This is a solid Table lamp with the wide bronze base adding great stability to the tall lamp.

The column of the lamp is square and tapering with a recessed centre and shell details top and bottom, the column and base also have applied beaded detailing.

The base is square, and both swept and stepped.

Wiring is modern & earthed - The lamp works perfectly and has a new "safer" BC bulb brass earthed holder. The lamp also has modern cable protection and a cable stay.

The bronze has been cleaned lightly and has a lovely aged Polished finish.

From small signs on the lamp base I suspect the lamp has been rewired before in its past.
