Item conditon: I've got the lens CLA'd recently by a very good technician to improve overall feeling. The lens runs very smoothly now (helicoid smoother than aperture) and is reasonably clean. Originally the lens was very hazy and did not perform well. The performance was definitely improved after a full CLA, I would say to reachable maximum as the lens was meant to perform. This is a very old (in fact already antique) item that has been used a lot in the past so expect a lot of 'life' going on both at glasses and chassis. There surely are micro scratches (even quite palpable chip on the rear glass), small dots, stains and overall artifacts/age related glass degradation of all kinds. But the glasses are now reasonably clear and are/were not infested with fungus which is always a good news. I believe there is a schneideritis on the inner brass alloy chassis which is somewhat ugly but has no impact on photography. The aperture blades appear to be perfect!

Chassis has significant paint loss on the black engraving which is the weakestspot /most prone to ageing part the outer area. There is some old glue (???) on the original hood just above the "7.5cm" engraving but I find it as a cute and recognizable mark :-)

Overall, this is an old, used lens that has been abundantly used previously and is far from new state so kindly manage your expectations. Less used items tend to get sold within $3k-$4k price range even thru auctions (which are not numerous) and they still perform the same. This is a private sale so the item is not retunrable or refundable unless mis-described (which is not as I described it very elaborately & arranged full CLA). If you have any doubts please express them to me BEFORE the purchase to avoid complications :-)
