This Listing is for ONE New Sheet of 20 x 37¢ Disney Friendship Stamps from 2004, featuring Bambi & Thumper, Mufasa & Simba, Pinocchio & Jiminy Cricket, and Mickey Mouse with Donald Duck and Goofy.

MNH. Mint. No flaws. From a Smoke-free and Pet-free Environment.

The 37¢ Friendship self-adhesive stamps - the 1st in the Art of Disney series - were issued by the U.S. Postal Service on June 23, 2004 in Anaheim, CA. The stamps were designed by David Pacheco of Burbank, CA, and illustrated by Peter Emmerich of New York, NY.

With the issuance of these four different stamp designs, the Postal Service honored the "art" of friendship as portrayed by Walt Disney and his studio animators - stamps representing four distinct types of friendship: Mickey Mouse, Goofy, and Donald Duck are the perfect fun-loving group; Bambi and Thumper represent childhood best friends; Mufasa and Simba show the powerful bond between parent and child; and Pinocchio and Jiminy Cricket exemplify a mentoring relationship.
