Seagull Maritime SWS Semi-Gloss Acoustic Guitar

Here for sale we have a Seagull Maritime SWS dreadnought acoustic guitar in Semi-Gloss finish. Made in Canada, this guitar features an all-solid construction comprising Mahogany back & sides, Spruce top, Mahogany neck and Rosewood fingerboard with matching bridge. The body is double bound in cream, whilst the top is adorned with multi-stripe purfling, a herringbone rosette and a tortoiseshell pickguard.

The Mahogany neck plays well, with what might be described as a rounded 'D' profile that sits comfortably in the hand and provides a smooth and responsive playing experience in all registers. The smooth Satin finish to the rear of the neck is nicely tactile and assists with effortless transitions to any register. The Rosewood fingerboard is pleasant to the touch and with its 16" radius offers a finely balanced surface for both chord playing and fingerstyle  techniques.

The voice of the Seagull Maritime SWS is balanced and articulate, with an unpronounced yet detailed low end, clear and open mid range and crisp, sparkling trebles that beautifully colour every note played on the instrument. The all-solid construction ensures a rich resonance, which provides a lively and dynamic playing experience that feels sensitive to the player’s touch. The Spruce top projects well, whilst the dreadnought body size produces plenty of volume and depth.
