Offered is a hand-painted, porcelain planter pot made in Czecho-Slovakia during the 2nd quarter of the 20th century. The pot is painted in a  deep blue, gold, burnt orange and green ffloral motif with black accents on a creamy white ground. It has a 3 leg base and two applied circular handles. The pot is meant to hold a smaller planter pot inside, as there is no drainage hole. This piece is in excellent vintage condition with minimal wear. There is no chipping, cracks, or repairs. There is no crazing of the glaze which often occurs with older pottery pieces. The base is stamped "Erphila Art Pottery" "Czecho Slovakia". Please see all photos for more detail on condition. Authentic Czecho-Slovakian pottery was only made between 1919 and 1939-between the two World Wars.
