Vintage 1950's Le Riviera Brevete S.G.D.G. Wind-Up Shaver Shaving Razor Made in Monaco Rare. 

Functional/Working Condition-Very Good, Working Used Vintage in original leather case (case is ripped on one side - see photos), boxed 

VINTAGE 1950's WINDUP (MECHANICAL,  CLOCK LIKE) Non Electric Portable SHAVER/RAZOR. This item consists of a vintage (1950's) windup (mechanical clock style gear) shaver/razor, enclosed in a clear see through plastic case. So you can see the mechanism function. And has a round gear that slightly protrudes out the side of the case that locks and unlocks the gears serving as a mechanical on/off switch. It's Made in Monaco by Le Riviera It is marked Brevete SGDG (“Patented without government guarantee”). We understand that similar razors were used by Apollo astronauts in the 1970s. The razor is in good working condition.

Razors like the Brevete S.G.D.G. were made for Astronauts to be used in space. There is no proof that this exact model was ever used in space. It would be an awesome conversation piece for someone who collects Vintage Razors.

The Shaver/Razor Is heavy in hand and very well built. I can't say how well it actually shaves, bc I have not used it on my face. But you can tell it's a well engineered high quality instrument.
