This is one of the finest diamond engagement rings we have seen in a long time.  It is an antique ring from the 1930s or earlier.  It features a visually flawless old European cut diamond that truly deserves the description "Stunning".  The setting has a unique intricate filigree design that we have never seen before.

Center Stone:   Old European cut EGL Certified Natural Diamond measuring 6.11x6.01x3.47mm and weighing 0.77CT.  This stone is absolutely clean and clear.  Even under 10X magnification, it is very difficult to see any inclusions, hence, EGL graded its clarity VS1 which is rare.   The Stone color is K.  This stone is of a great balanced cut and is a fine specimen of natural diamond.  It faces up so elegantly and makes the statement "I am special".   It is what a diamond should be.  You will not be disappointed.

Accent Stones:  14 round cut diamonds with the six largest being bezel set.  Clarity is VS1 and color is G.  

Total Weight - All Stones:  1.0CT

Ring Face Measurements:    11.6x16mm and rises 7     mm off and above finger level.

Ring Shank:   1.9 mm 

Precious Metal:  14K White Gold

Weight:  3.9 grams

Grading a diamond or a gemstone is a personal opinion and not an exact science.  Jewelry sellers of the internet including eBay sellers offer much more competitive prices due to the high competition.  This has adversely affected your hometown jewelers who tend to sell with a huge markup.  Unfortunately, some unethical local jewelers tend to greatly downgrade a diamond or a gemstone not purchased from them to drive buyers away from buying from the net and back to their local stores.  Jewelry I sell on eBay is often 50% lower price than the brick-and-mortar hometown jewelers.

 We do not have information about the treatment of colored stones, and since 98% of all colored stones are treated in one or more ways unless we state that the stone is untreated, buyers should assume colored stone is likely treated.
