The Wand Pendant A wonderful pendant made out of a piece of mistletoe wood that I found, broken from the Apple tree that it was growing from on a trip to Wales several years ago. This is a rare pendant, and I'm delighted to be able to offer several pendants on ebay (I have only enough wood for a few pendants).
The wand pendant was sanded smooth and given a coat of local beeswax polish. It is hung on a length of waxed cotton cord hung with a mistletoe wood bead. It's about 3.5 inches/9 cm in length. Mistletoe is sacred to the druids - it's a magical plant - a true parasite, growing and taking nourishment from its host tree. You can see it best in the winter, growing high in the branches in big green leafy balls.
