Description
The Korg X3 digital synthesizer, released in 1993, was in some ways a spiritual successor to the highly successful Korg M1 and 01 / W synthesizers, though at a competitive price point. The X3 features the same AI Square sound engine as the Korg 01 / W (which combined several of the AI processing chips found in the M1 and Korg T series), where samples are modulated non-linearly, producing rich harmonics as a result of distortion. The 01 / W engine is known for its particularly “warm” ”And“ rich ”sounds. So what you're getting is a huge collection of groundbreaking sounds from the 01 / W, in an updated form factor and at a great price. The combi mode of the X3 allows you to combine different patches ( which are editable) by controlling different sounds with different MIDI channels, and you can come up with some pretty mind-blowing stuff! This thing is awesome!
This keyboard is in very good condition, with some signs of age and use (please see photos), including some scratches and scuffs on its body (Please see pictures).**The floppy drive needs a new belt. **There is no volume slider knob, although it should not be a problem to use. The unit has thoroughly checked and been tested by our professional technician, who has confirmed the integrity and flawless operation of the unit. All Keys, All Buttons, and the Display are fully functional.
