 3CX is very different to the competition as it doesn’t charge a fee per phone connected, which can get very expensive. Instead, its price is based on the number of simultaneous calls (SC) being made at any one time, basically the more people on the phone at the same time, the bigger the licence that is required, various licences are available. We find the 3CX 4SC pro licence is big enough for most businesses up to 20 phones.


The 3CX 4SC Pro licence costs only £280 per year, billed annually by us. If you want more phones, no problem as there is virtually no limit to the number of phones you can have, including the brilliant free mobile and desktop apps that can be connected at no extra cost!


Included in the cost is the programming of the system to your specification and porting of your existing phone numbers to the cloud, this is necessary to be able to use your numbers on the system. There are normally no extra fees for porting your number, but there could be a small fee for those with DDI numbers or more complex setups.


Sip trunk monthly rental is not included in the cost, these are billed in a similar way to your existing analogue and ISDN lines on a monthly basis, we use our partner company CTR for this. A sip trunk is considerably cheaper than your existing lines and is superior in many ways. Our price for a sip trunk is £10 per month per line, this includes free UK standard national and mobile calls!

3CX uses Sip trunks (internet lines), this is a fantastic feature as customers have a much greater choice of line providers to choose from. The Sip provider and the 3CX PBX are independent of each other, much like a traditional phone system, which means you can easily change your Sip provider, with almost no interruption to your phone service. With a hosted system your lines and phones are always with the same provider. So, if you are unhappy with your hosted service, it is a lot more difficult to change your provider, without starting all over again, this can be costly and cause major disruption to your business.
