  • Pictures with copy protection cannot be recorded on this recorder.
  • Dubbing restriction: You cannot dub movies and other DVD VIDEOs to the HDD. Also, when dubbing from a DVD to the HDD, scenes that contain
    a copy protection signal cannot be recorded. Titles containing “Copy-Once” copy protection signals can be moved only from the HDD to a DVD-RW/DVD-R (VR mode)* (after the title is moved, the original title in the HDD is erased). The “Move” function is performed using Dubbing List.
  • Discs that can be used for protected signals* CPRM-compatible DVD-RWs/DVD-Rs (VR mode) only. 
  • *The dubbed disc can be played only on CPRM compatible equipment CPRM (Content Protection for Recordable Media) is a coding technology that protects copyrights for images.
  • Protected titles in the HDD cannot be moved.
  • You cannot copy files on the HDD to USB devices.
  • You cannot copy files to a recordable DVD that has been recorded using other recorders/devices.
  • DATA DVDs finalised on this recorder may notbe able to play on other equipment.
  • You cannot copy a slideshow to a disc.
  • When copying more than 2 folder layers, only up to 2 folder layers can be copied on to the disc.
