Decorated with a central medallion bearing a bird and rose inside a wide gold band border flanked by four butterflies, and surrounded by four panel reserves with 'C' scroll borders depicting court scenes with ladies, scholars, and servants, interspersed with similar reserves decorated with birds, fruits, and flowers, all on top of a gold ground with scrolling tendrils and floral decoration. The back of the pieces is glazed and marked.

The small plate is decorated with “ thousand butterflies “

Small plate 6” in diameter

Cup and saucer. The saucer is approximately 5 1/4” diameter. The cup is 4” diameter ( the cup has a hair line crack please see photos)

All plates are in excellent condition, beautiful hand painted decoration from long ago.
