Description
++I'm AT, the cleaner, and if you like the D-50 and are looking for a beautiful enclosure, this is the one for you. It was released in 1987. I was amazed. It has probably been carefully stored. If you care about looks, this is a good choice. I personally think the D-50 is a masterpiece, so I have a lot of feelings about it. Thank you!

The Roland D-50, released in 1987 during the “Golden Era” of Japanese audio equipment, is a 61-key digital synthesizer (Roland's first!) And MIDI controller which was a best-selling instrument during its release. The D-50 sound engine employs Roland's now-legendary linear arithmetic synthesis (LAS), which provides a huge amount of control for users who like to jump into the details of the synthesis algorithms. The D-50 sound engine is unique in that it offers sounds that come from a synthesis of “analog” waveforms (digitally created in real-time, unlike PCM synthesis) with PCM samples of real instruments as well as famous analog synths. These are filtered in a manner similar to analog synths, using LFOs, TVFs, TVAs, a ring modulator, and other effects. The LAS technology enabled radical new sounds that could not be created using existing analog or digital synthesis engines. The D-50 is loaded with a ton of great presets, and the keyboard features several other great features, such as velocity sensitivity. if you are looking for a groundbreaking synth with awesome sounds, just full of juicy 80s tones, be sure to check out the Roland D-50.
