BenGay ointment for joint and muscle pain x50 grams

BenGay is intended for topical use and is used to relieve inflammatory joint and muscle pain, spastic lumbosacral pain, and stiffness and joint pain. Methyl salicylate is a methyl ester of salicylic acid that eliminates inflammation in nerve endings and joints, optimizes the permeability of capillaries and effectively reduces fluid outflow from inflamed areas. BenGay ointment quickly penetrates the skin and provides quick relief. Menthol has a slightly cooling effect with a quick pain-relieving effect.

It is available in a convenient 50g pack.

Composition:

Stearic acid, glyceryl monostearate, lanolin anhydride, polysorbate 85, sorbitan tristearate, triethanolamine, water.

Active ingredients: Methyl salicylate 150 mg and menthol 100 mg.

Methyl salicylate – eliminates inflammation in nerve endings and joints.

Menthol – has a slightly cooling effect with a quick pain-relieving effect.

The ointment is applied by massaging the skin of the affected area. This can be repeated within a few hours (3-4 times a day) if necessary.

Before using BenGay:

Don't use:

• if you are allergic (hypersensitive) to methyl salicylate, menthol or any of the other ingredients of BenGay;

​• if you have open wounds;

​• if you have inflamed skin;

​• if you are under 12 years old.

Pay particular attention to:

   External application is carried out exclusively as described below.

​• Don't swallow it.

​• Do not use BenGay with heat compresses.

​• Do not use if skin inflammation occurs.

​• Avoid getting the medicine in the eyes or other mucous membranes.

​• If pain persists for 10 days or longer without relief, contact your doctor.
