Antique Silver Scalloped Footed Dish

A silver trinket dish in the form of a scalloped shell with three ball feet.  It is in sterling silver and has a Birmingham hallmark for 1892 making it late Victorian in period.  It also has the makers mark JG & S probably for John Grinsell & Sons of Birmingham who operated out of the jewellery quarter.

A nice attractive example.

Condition

Some period wear as expected but nothing that spoils the piece.  A small indent to the top surface where one ball foot is joined and some minor scratches.   Overall a nice example.
