Eco-friendly, environment friendly, sustainable fabric and weaving process

>Ideally, hemp plants do not require pesticites or much care and grow well with a little rain water.They are also found in wild, in hills and abandoned lands.>The fabric weaving for above product is done using traditional wooden loom which runs by using hands and no machine is used in weaving process. 

This bolt is quilt unusual as it's very slubby, heavy weave, nubby too! This bolt is hand woven using a hemp warp and a cotton weft, so it's a very heavy fustian! This bolt has some really wonderful striations in the weave, it would make a stunning table runner or decorative pillow fabric! Wonderfully high quality. I love knowing these linens were grown without the use of pesticides, just lovely natural fabric. it took the average weaver an entire night to weave just 21 inches. The work involved in producing these necessity was incredible. That was even after growing the plants, retting, spinning ! ~*~ We are so very lucky to get to hold these amazing textiles

CONDITION : This gorgeous textile is in as found, unwashed condition. Beautiful unwashed condition ~*~ *This bolt is made using both hemp ( which doesn't shrink ) and cotton , which will shrink! So, when washed, it might pucker if you are using warm or hot ! It can be washed on cold and hung to dry. OR best really to just dry clean it as it really comes out SO wonderfully!!~ If you're using as a decorative piece, it doesn't need cleaning often! ~*~ It's just better results. However I have sometimes used these bolts and hand washed on cold and hung to dry too! ~*
